Critical outputs of the downstream sector include gasoline, jet fuel, heating oil, asphalt products, lubricants, and myriad
others. While they account for only a very small portion of hydrocarbon end-uses, heat transfer fluids (HTFs) are a niche
but important output of downstream production.”
