Founded in 1988, Paratherm sees the demand for its heat transfer fluids growing steadily. Company founder and president, John C. Fuhr says, "There is an increasing awareness that specialized heat transfer fluids and systems are much better suited than other methods to provide the kind of industrial process temperature control necessary for superior product quality at minimal cost."
"This awareness, together with the desire of many manufacturers to produce their products more safely and with minimum impact on the environment, has resulted in greater demand for Paratherm's non-toxic heat transfer fluids. By increasing stocking locations, we continue to improve our ability to serve Paratherm's growing base of customers in North America, Latin America, Europe and the Far East."
Paratherm manufactures the NF® non-fouling fluid, HE® high flash/fire-point fluid, OR® sludge-resistant fluid and the new MR™ heat/cool thermal fluid. Used in a wide range of industries (including asphalt, bulk transport, chemical, die casting, food, laundry, marine, pharmaceutical, plastics and rubber), they provide precise, uniform process temperature control in
low/zero-pressure closed-loop thermal oil systems. All Paratherm heat
transfer fluids are non-toxic, have passed rigorous environmental
Bioassay and can be safely combined with spent lube oils and recycled
locally.
