Heat Transfer Fluids Control Temperature in Formation of Unique Plastics Additives
Specialty Plastics Company Polyvisions, Inc.creates unique, pelletized additives their customers use to make finished plastic products.Paratherm NF® heat transfer fluid tightly controls production temperatures in Polyvision’s continuous processors, jacketed ribbon blenders, and extruders that process pigments, nucleating agents, lubricants and surface modifiers. The high-temperature NF fluid delivers the reliability, uniformity and superior performance necessary across the variety of processing conditions in this specialty business.
CAD + Quick Change Machinery + Thermal Oil = Fast Prototypes + Quality Short-Run Parts
Urgent Plastics Company demanded precision in temperature control and uniformity to improve the accuracy and performance of their tools during the molding process. Over 5 years ago they charged Paratherm HE® High-Flash-Point heat transfer fluid into their presses and since then, no change-out, no breakdown or sludging.
Products for Plastics Processing
For temperature control in molding, extrusion, press heating, line tracing, and coating rolls, Paratherm Corporation manufactures several specialized heat transfer fluids— and a liquid cleaner for hot-oil units .
Paratherm NF® heat transfer fluid is non-fouling, and non-toxic. It is commonly specified in electrically heated temperature control units for molding applications.
Paratherm OR® heat transfer fluid is non-sludging and oxidation resistant. Its unique combination of a thermally stable base stock with proprietary antioxidant additive makes it a common choice for applications where tools are frequently changed or air is otherwise routinely contacting the hot oil.
Paratherm MR® heat transfer fluid is for single-fluid heating and cooling, and is specially formulated for temperature control in Blowmolding applications.
Paratherm SC® system cleaning liquidis expressly formulated to dissolve and suspend sludge and carbon lumps frequently produced in hot oil temperature control units
